Council Bluffs school planner

Two school systems serve Council Bluffs, so local planning is not one-size-fits-all.

Council Bluffs Community School District and Lewis Central Community School District are separate systems with different campuses and their own internal processes. That is useful context when you are choosing rentals, figuring out who needs paperwork, and deciding how the event will fit the school day.

Council Bluffs Community School District

A larger network of elementary, middle and high-school campuses

CBCSD's current school directory lists 10 elementary schools, Kirn and Wilson middle schools, and Abraham Lincoln and Thomas Jefferson as its traditional high schools, along with early-learning, alternative, innovation and online programs.

10 elementary schools
Kirn + Wilson middle schools
Abraham Lincoln + Thomas Jefferson high schools

That range is exactly why an elementary reward day should not be planned like a middle-school field day or a high-school celebration.

Lewis Central Community School District

Four main schools with a clear grade progression

Lewis Central's current school directory lists four main schools serving students from the early grades through high school.

Kreft Primary School
Titan Hill Intermediate School
Lewis Central Middle School
Lewis Central High School

For planners, that makes age-based rental choices especially straightforward: what works for primary students can be very different from what keeps middle- or high-school students interested.

District information above comes from the current official school directories. Review the CBCSD school directory and the Lewis Central school directory for the latest district information.
Before you pick the inflatables

Start with what you already know about the school day.

You do not need a finished equipment list before you contact us. A few basic details usually tell us more than knowing which inflatable somebody liked in a picture.

Event date and school
Grade levels or age range
Approximate number of students or families
How long each group has for activities
Grass, pavement, indoor space or a combination
Campus access, power and insurance requirements

Once those pieces are clear, choosing the rentals gets a lot easier.

Field day

Council Bluffs School Field Day Rentals

A good field day has a lot of energy without feeling like several hundred students are all waiting for the same thing.

When we help with Council Bluffs School Field Day Rentals , we think in stations. One group might be on an obstacle course while another is at an interactive game and another is moving through a slide. Teachers and volunteers get a schedule that makes sense, and students spend less of the day standing around.

Build around student groups

If classes or grade levels rotate together, decide how many activity groups you need before deciding how many rentals you need.

Give every station a job

A large inflatable can be an anchor. A smaller game may simply keep a group busy between rotations. Both can matter.

Leave room to move

Walking paths are part of the plan. Leave enough space for teachers, volunteers and students to move without cutting through another activity.

School carnival

Council Bluffs School Carnival Rentals

A carnival has a different rhythm than a field day. Families arrive at different times, siblings come along, volunteers change shifts, and food, prizes and check-in all compete for space.

The best Council Bluffs School Carnival Rentals give families several things to do at once. Larger inflatables can anchor the event, but games and smaller stations are what keep every family from forming one giant line.

Activity Zone

Bigger attractions

Obstacle courses, slides and larger inflatables create obvious anchors students notice right away.

Game Zone

Short-turn activities

Carnival and interactive games give volunteers manageable stations and families more choices.

Support Zone

Food, check-in and seating

Keep the things that make the event function away from attraction entrances and exits whenever the space allows it.

Choose by age

Council Bluffs School Inflatable Rentals

The right inflatable for first graders may be completely wrong for eighth graders. A school does not need one attraction that somehow works equally well for everybody.

We help schools choose Council Bluffs School Inflatable Rentals around student ages, event size and how quickly each activity needs to move.

Early Elementary

Keep the choices simple

Bounce houses, combos, simple slides and easy games let younger students understand the activity immediately.

Upper Elementary

Add more movement

Obstacle courses, slides and interactive games can make the event feel bigger without becoming hard to understand.

Middle + High School

Competition usually wins

Sports challenges, obstacle courses and interactive attractions give older students something to compete at instead of simply something to bounce in.

Family Event

Give different ages options

A younger-kid area and an older-student activity area usually work better than forcing every age into the same line.

PTO + PTA

Council Bluffs PTO Event Rentals

Parent volunteers usually have enough to do already. The rental plan should be easy to explain to the people who show up to help an hour before the event.

Council Bluffs PTO Event Rentals can be as simple as a few activities for a family night or as large as a carnival with inflatables, games, tables, chairs and fundraising stations. Our job is to make the equipment side straightforward.

Make volunteer jobs obvious

Give each person a station or area. “Watch everything” is not a useful volunteer assignment.

Keep arrivals out of the fun

Registration and check-in get crowded. When the layout allows, keep them away from attraction lines and student traffic.

Give families reasons to stay

A mix of larger attractions and smaller activities keeps the night from becoming one long wait for a centerpiece.

School event checklist

Get the logistics settled before students arrive.

The fun part of the event gets easier when delivery access, the setup area, power, insurance and student movement have already been figured out. These are the details worth settling before event day.

Event date and operating window
School-approved setup area
Expected attendance
Student ages or grade levels
Delivery access and gates
Power availability
Water access for wet rentals
Staff and volunteer supervision
COI or insurance requirements
Local paperwork matters

Ask your school what it needs before the rental date.

CBCSD and Lewis Central are separate districts, and facility-use rules are not identical. Jumpers4You is fully insured and can provide a COI, but your school or district still controls the event, the approved setup area and any documentation it requires.

CBCSD facility-use example

Outside organizations renting district facilities have a published insurance requirement.

CBCSD Regulation 906.1 says organizations renting district facilities must furnish proof of liability insurance before the rental application is approved, with a published $1,000,000 combined single limit. The district also reserves the right to change its minimum coverage requirement.

That rule is for organizations using or renting district facilities; it should not be read as a blanket rule for every school-sponsored event.

Review CBCSD Regulation 906.1

Lewis Central facility use

Lewis Central publishes a separate community-use process.

Lewis Central's policy library includes Community Use of School District Facilities & Equipment rules, an application for use and a separate indemnity and liability insurance agreement.

If an outside organization is using Lewis Central property, confirm the current process with the district rather than assuming CBCSD's requirements apply.

Review Lewis Central facility-use policies

If your school gives you specific COI wording or insurance instructions, send them to us early. Paperwork is much easier to fix before event day than while the delivery crew is trying to get onto campus.

Help with the school budget

Two ways qualifying school events can get more value.

20% Off

School discount with CSD20

Qualifying schools receive 20% off eligible rentals with code CSD20. The same discount is available to qualifying churches, daycares and nonprofits.

CSD20
$200

Fundraiser gift certificate

Qualifying schools, churches and nonprofits renting four regular units can receive a free $200 gift certificate to raffle or use for fundraising. It is not valid toward the organization's own rental.

Council Bluffs School Event Rentals FAQ

Do you provide school event rentals for both CBCSD and Lewis Central schools?
Yes. Jumpers4You provides school event rentals throughout the Council Bluffs area. Council Bluffs Community School District and Lewis Central Community School District are separate systems, so the school should confirm its own event, location and facility requirements before the rental plan is finalized.
Can you provide a Certificate of Insurance for a Council Bluffs school?
Yes. Jumpers4You is fully insured and can provide a Certificate of Insurance when requested. If your school needs particular additional-insured wording or certificate details, send those requirements early.
What Council Bluffs School Field Day Rentals work well for larger groups?
Larger field days usually work better with several stations instead of one main attraction. Obstacle courses, slides, interactive inflatables, bounce houses and games can be divided across student rotations. The best mix depends on the grades attending, the space available and the time each group has at a station.
What Council Bluffs School Carnival Rentals should we consider?
Start with a few larger attractions and then add shorter activities such as games. Plan food, check-in, seating and fundraising areas at the same time so they do not compete with the attraction lines.
What Council Bluffs School Inflatable Rentals work for different ages?
Younger students often do well with bounce houses, combos and simple slides. Older students usually respond better to obstacle courses, interactive games and competitive attractions. Mixed-age events often benefit from separate options for different age groups.
Do you provide Council Bluffs PTO Event Rentals?
Yes. Jumpers4You works with school and parent groups planning PTO and PTA events, carnivals, fundraisers, family nights and other school gatherings. We can provide inflatables, games, tables, chairs and other rentals while handling delivery, setup and pickup.
Does CBCSD have insurance rules for organizations renting district facilities?
Yes. CBCSD Regulation 906.1 says organizations renting district facilities must provide proof of liability insurance before the rental application is approved, with a published $1,000,000 combined single limit. The district reserves the right to change its minimum coverage requirement. That rule applies to facility rentals by organizations and should not be treated as a blanket rule for every school-sponsored event.
Does Lewis Central have its own facility-use process?
Yes. Lewis Central publishes Community Use of School District Facilities and Equipment policies, including an application for use and a separate indemnity and liability insurance agreement. Check the district's current policy library when an outside organization is using district property.
Do Council Bluffs schools receive the CSD20 discount?
Qualifying schools can use code CSD20 for 20% off eligible rentals. The same discount is available to qualifying churches, daycares and nonprofits.
Do you deliver, set up and pick up the school rentals?
Yes. Jumpers4You handles delivery, setup, anchoring, takedown and pickup for delivered rental equipment. Schools should provide campus access and setup details before event day.
Ready when you are

Tell us about the school event. You do not need the rental list yet.

Start with the date, school, student ages, rough attendance and whether you are planning a field day, carnival, PTO event, reward day or something else.

We will help you turn that into a Council Bluffs School Event Rentals plan that fits the students, the campus and the way the event actually needs to run.
